Peaky Blinders Season 6 and Ballet version

ICYMI – The BBC has reported that the award-winning hit TV show Peaky Blinders might becoming a ballet, with the creator of the show, Steven Knight considering plans for a ballet version.

Peaky Blinders is a British television crime drama set in 1920s Birmingham, England in the aftermath of World War England and centered on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby.

The Oscar-nominated screenwriter told the Birmingham Press Club that Rambert dance company had approached him with plans for a ballet based on the Shelby crime family.

“I had a meeting with Ballet Rambert who want to do Peaky Blinders – The Ballet. I’m saying ‘why not?'”

Knight, who is currently writing season five, comforted the fans with confirmation of the six season coming, he said: “We are definitely doing [series] six and we will probably do seven. After series four it went mad.”

Knight said he was keen to use the show’s success to promote Birmingham and wants more filming to take place in the city.
