In Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland the Mad Hatter is actually a Mad Tapper. This new video takes viewers into the studio where dancers swap their ballet slippers for tap shoes. First Soloist Chelsy Meiss makes her debut as the Mad Hatter, becoming the first female dancer to be cast in the role, and Second Soloist Donald Thom makes his company debut. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is onstage March 7 – 17, 2019 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
