Dance Proms, a platform for aspiring young dancers to perform on an international level at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, is the biggest youth dance spectacular in the UK. This year it featured over 500 talented dancers from the UK and abroad, in addition to performances from Britain’s Got Talent stars, Flawless and BBC Young Dancer winner, Nafisah Baba. Presented by BBC children’s TV presenter, Radzi Chinyanganya, the show covered a multitude of dance styles from ballet to jazz and Latin to tap.
Dance Proms is managed by two of the UK’s leading dance organisations: the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), and the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), together with Britain’s most iconic venue, the Royal Albert Hall.
Unfortunately, Dance Proms 2017 marked the final Dance Proms, check out some of the photos from this magnificent show.
