Dancing Letters May 2018
Would you like to explore dance and reading and writing letters in an open and supportive environment? Join Candoco during this May half term for Dancing Letters – a free, creative dance project, suitable for disabled and non-disabled people age 13-25. No dance experience required, just your enthusiasm.
Working with two Candoco dance artists, participants will spend the week exploring the relationship between words, letters and movement and how these physical and written expressions inspire us. We will work together for four days to create a unique dance performance which will take place in a special location in Islington on Saturday 2nd June as part of Word Festival 2018.
This is a free project. Participants are expected to attend the full week (Tuesday 29th May – Saturday 2nd June, 10.30am – 4.30pm).
