Every October my husband Simon & I head to Amsterdam for the incredible ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), where all the best DJs and Producers from around the world decend on this beautiful European city to create the best clubbing experience.
Simon is a DJ / Producer so while he spends the day at the official ADE conference, I cycle the canals, go shopping and indulge in culture.
Amsterdam is more than the red light district, in fact, we never go near that area and haven’t done since we first went in our early 20s – everyone has to do it at least once!
We spend most of our time in the Jordaan, a groovy little area just west filled with cool restaurants, bars and shops. I love cycling around and checking out the fab wears on sale in the cute little boutiques.
Every time we stay in a different apartment through AirBnB. But to be honest it’s because we can never get into the two hotels where the conference are mainly held, but they’re so stunning that they deserve a mention: The Dylan and The ANDAZ AMSTERDAM.
