Ballet New Year!

Happy New Year Wonderfuls!

How exciting it’s 2015! Another fabulous year of incredible dance and ballet.

To get started, this week we’re looking forward to:

English National Ballet’s Swan Lake and we’re going to the opening night at London’s Coliseum on 7 Jan. The last time I saw ENB’s Swan Lake, the corps de ballet were so perfect I got goosebumps and had tears in my eyes.  I’ve seen Swan Lake countless time and still love this romantic ballet.

★ The Royal Danish Ballet Soloists and Principals: Bournonville Celebration – it’s been 10 years since The Royal Danish Ballet has performed in London and this will be the first time I’ve seen them dance. On 9 and 10 Jan the company will perform excerpts from works by August Bournonville, the acclaimed 19th century Royal Danish Ballet choreographer and ballet master.
